The third Saturday in October Sweetest Day is celebrated. The concept was initialized in 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio by Herbert Birch Kingston who was a candy company employee and philanthropist.
About Sweetest Day
Sweetest Day though a regional celebration, is getting accepted by the rest of USA. Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin observe this holiday more than the rest of the states.
